African Entrepreneurship Forum
Africa that builds business, together.
Entrepreneurship is booming in Africa and plays a fundamental role in young people's access to decent jobs and in the socio-economic development of countries. Yet according to the AfDB (2022), 80% of the continent's SMEs struggle to obtain financing, and only just over 30% of small businesses make it past their third year.
Over two days, entrepreneurs, exhibitors, financial institutions and decision-makers come together around an exhibition space, an AI hub open to all, financing-application workshops, scheduled B2B meetings and a pitch competition showcasing high-potential projects.
Forum objectives
Strengthen the visibility of African businesses (all sectors) through an exhibition and sales space
Facilitate access to financing through B2B meetings with banks, investment funds and business angels
Encourage exchanges between entrepreneurs, the financial sector and policy-makers
Promote innovation through a business plan / pitch competition showcasing high-potential projects
Reward CAE members with exclusive benefits not available to other participants
Promote the use of AI to improve entrepreneurs' productivity through an AI hub open to all
